Jonas Rosenbrück (Amherst College) will give a lecture on Thursday, February 5 at 4:30 pm in Classics, room 20:
“Ingeborg Bachmann’s Elective Disaffinities”, a reading of Bachmann’s short stories (in particular from Simultan) in conjunction with contemporary queer studies/feminist work as well as Benjamin’s essay “Goethe’s Elective Affinities."
There will be a workshop on Friday at 10AM in WB 206 on "Germany and the Imperception of Palestine" in the New German Critique, dedicated to "German Memory Politics at a Crossroads."
