Nicholas Andes joins the department in 2021, after graduating from Columbia University in 2019 with a B.A. in German and Political Science. As an undergraduate, he also studied German literature at the Freie Universität Berlin. His interests include modernism (particularly in Austria-Hungary) and critical theory, literary representations of nature, and the history and theory of criticism.
