Fifteen of our undergraduate students have been awarded Foreign Language Aquisition Grants (FLAGs) to study Germanic languages in the summer of 2015, making Germanic-language students disproportionally successful applicants, as only 100 FLAGs are awarded each year. One student in German and one in Norwegian have also been awarded F. Champion Ward Grants to perform BA research this summer.
