Nicole G. Burgoyne

Lecturer in Germanic Studies

Nicole G. Burgoyne teaches German language at all levels as well as courses in German literature and culture. She received her doctorate in Germanic Languages and Literatures from Harvard University in 2016. Her research focuses on the literary milieu of the German Democratic Republic (GDR). In addition to studying how the Communist regime enforced aesthetics, she studies alternative culture and post-Wall literature.
